Turkish Azeri, all natural dyes, Indigo field with ivory border, red and pale blue accents. Azeri rugs popularized the natural-dyed tribal and village rug “movement” in the early nineties by using time-honored, superior material usage and elaborate geometric forms from a variety of tribal influences. This design has a nice flow and is primarily influenced by Kurdish rug weaving. Its an exceptionally well-packed weave, with a thick, durable foundation, and resilient Turkish wool. If you like blue and you have a room that fits this rug, you won’t be disappointed.
