Measuring 8” (20cm) tall and 18” (45cm) in outer diameter, the refined assortment of classic engraving – including a rare, primitive drawing on the inner rim – reveals the essence of the art form, which is all but extinct in today’s middle eastern craft trades. It was originally produced by metal artisans in Isfahan, Iran, as a part of a bridal dowry collection, to serve fresh, liquified pomegranate, watermelon, and other seasonal beverages.
