A uniquely engraved 8” diameter hand hammered Persian copper serving plate. The unusual engraving and hammered finish was produced by skilled artisans in the Isfahan region of Iran, circa 1930, as part of a bridal dowry collection. Engraving may vary slightly from what is shown. All copper originals were tin washed for preservation. A residual amount of tin and/or abrasion may remain after polishing. Compare this item with virtually any collectable metal original and you’ll find it rises above everything in its category.
