Vintage Sarab runners like this are well known for their use of camel and ivory colors – varying from light and sandy (ivory), to deeper toned (taupe). These authentic background colors work in tandem with the richer colors (reds, browns, greens) found in the geometric, village-style designs to provide informal, decorative beauty. When placed in the same environment with other tribal or village carpets, the harmonious effects are stunning.
