A rare, striking copper original from an esteemed workshop in Isfahan, Iran, circa 1900. With its fitted base and hand formed ingot copper curvature, this confectioner’s bowl measures 13” tall and 18” in diameter, and was made as a part of a bridal dowry collection, to serve hot/cold liquids during ceremonies. The refined curvature and hand wrought style of this piece is made to last centuries. This vessel is extremely rare and provides a striking compliment  to eclectic interiors with mixed-age accessories. Compare this item with virtually any collectable metal original and you’ll find it rises above everything in its category. In excellent, like-new condition. All copper originals were tin washed for preservation. A residual amount of tin and blemishes may remain after polishing.
